     As a student of Bernardo Karate, we are striving to be the best possible person we can be.  We must keep in mind that “the ultimate goal of Martial Arts is perfection of the character of its participants.” We will achieve this by following our student creed, which is as follows: 

I will keep my thoughts positive,

because my thoughts become my words. 

I will keep my words positive,

because my words become my actions.

 I will keep my actions positive,

because my actions become my values.

I will keep my values positive,

because my values become my destiny.

      By following the above student creed we will develop our Martial arts skills to a level of excellence and at the same time achieve our ultimate goal:
